Colossians 1:15-20 contains the main point of the entire book: the preeminence of Christ. Jesus is in all and over all. All things have come into being through him and all things are subject to him. Amidst a world that denies Christ's supremacy, and emotions that reject his preeminence, we must meditate on Christ's rightful place - above all else.
