For many believers the story of Jesus' birth (with it’s characters, narrative, details) is familiar to us. As it should be. But the danger of familiarity is that the "what" becomes so common that we may neglect to stop and ponder the "why." The reality is that every detail of Jesus birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension are filled with significance – including the virgin birth.
