On Saturday evening we held our first ever Christmas Eve service at Redemption Hill. Thank you to all who participated and served, you really helped make it special time. For those who were able to join us I hope the songs and readings helped to focus your heart on Christ and His gospel. But Christmas is not the only time we focus on Jesus! Let's endeavor to seek Him, love Him, serve Him and celebrate Him each and every day as we move ahead into the new year!

This Sunday we will begin a short mini-series that will focus on our identity and mission as a church. On Sunday we not only begin a new calendar year but also enter a new season as an independent church no longer benefiting from the support and oversight of Countryside. This is a critical moment for us and I feel compelled to refocus on the task at hand. Pray with me that these messages will be a helpful and challenging reminder for those who have been with us since the start, and that it will clearly define our mission for those who are newer to our church family. May God give us a zeal for the lost, a love for the church, and a passion for His glory.

Men, the annual Ironmen Summit will be here before you know it. This year the event will be held on Saturday, January 21st from 8am-4pm at Flint Hills Christian Church in Emporia, KS. I would love to see as many of our men as possible attend, it really is a phenomenal help and encouragement. We are called to serve our families, church, and community and we need the perspective and equipping that events like this provide. It is also a great time of fellowship and strengthening the bond we have as men in the church. Mark it down on your calendar. If you need help covering the cost please let me know, we want to help you get there. You can learn more and register here. It fills up fast, so I would encourage you to sign up ASAP!
