IN REFLECTION

This last week we looked at Hebrews 12:25-29 and considered the importance of offering acceptable worship to God. Such worship grows out of gratitude and is marked by reverence and awe. Let's dwell this week on the gracious works of God and the glorious character of God, that we might be compelled to worship Him as He deserves!

Listen to "Acceptable Worship"

IN PREPARATION

This Sunday we will have the privilege of hearing from pastor Mike Summers, who has pastored at Countryside Baptist Church in Olathe, KS since 1989. He is planning to preach from Genesis 22:1-18 on the opportunity of testing. I encourage you to read through that text this week and pray that God would speak to us through His word as we gather for worship Sunday.

**NOTE** we will not be having our youth meeting this Sunday night. We plan to pick back up on the 28th.

CONGRATULATIONS!

We had several members reach a significant milestone this past week. Katie Skoog completed her bachelor's degree and Angie Seaba completed her master's at KU. Let's rejoice with them and encourage them as they both step into their new careers.

NEW DIRECTORY

Nancy Moneymaker has graciously served us by compiling an updated church directory. If you did not receive one on Sunday be sure to pick one up this week. This is a great resource to pray through and utilize when seeking to connect with others in our body.
