This past week we were blessed to have Pastor Bryan Neal from Countryside come and speak to us from Hebrews 1:1-3 on the revelation of God in Jesus Christ. It ought to amaze us to consider God's incredible grace in revealing Himself to us through the prophets and ultimately through Jesus Christ, the God-man, who is one with the Father and shares His eternal perfections and divine essence. The eternal Son took on flesh because God loves us and chose to pour out His grace. May we ponder and reflect on these marvelous truths this week as Christmas approaches.
Although we were unable to capture the audio this week you can listen to a version of this sermon He preached recently at Countryside on their website.
This week we will be examining Matthew 2:1-12 together in our time of worship on Sunday morning. I would invite you to read these familiar verses carefully and ask God to "open our eyes to behold wondrous things out of His law" (Ps. 119:18).
Just a reminder that tonight will be a baby shower at 7pm in our home for Tali Wilson (and the incoming twin boys!)
This Saturday at 6:30pm will be our Christmas gathering at Will and Nancy's home. Bring some finger food or dessert and come ready to enjoy a time of worship and fellowship together.
Men, if you haven't signed up for the Ironmen Summit, now is the time! January 23rd will be on us before you know it and the event always sells out long before that. This is more than just a social event. This is a strategic time of equipping for us as men so that we might be faithful to our mission and effective in fulfilling our responsibilities as disciples of Jesus. If the $40 is a deal breaker, let me know (we want to help you get there). You can get more info and register here.
