Last week we focused on the sufficiency of Christ. Christ is sufficient to change our hearts, forgive our sins, and conquer our enemies. As Christians, this is fantastic news! As you go through this week, remember that Christ is enough. Use this truth to focus your heart in difficult circumstances, in temptation, and in everything you do.

Listen to All Sufficient Savior

This week we will hear the next installment in our series in Hosea. Chapter 3 is the final installment in the narrative of the book, and showcases the faithful love of God in contrast to the passing fancies of sinners. As you prepare for this Sunday, read Hosea 3 and think about the following questions:

  • What is the significance of the Israelites loving cakes of raisins?
  • Why did Hosea have to buy back his wife?
  • Based on this passage, how would you define God's love?
  • What is meant by the phrase "in the latter days"?

Please take a moment in preparation for this Sunday to pray for those God will bring to the service, both believers and unbelievers, and that he will work in their hearts to understand the Scripture and apply it to their hearts. Pray for Michael as he prepares and proclaims God's Word, and for the Holy Spirit to work through his words and in the hearts of all who hear. Pray that God would defeat our enemy's attempts to hinder the proclamation of the gospel at Redemption Hill.

Below are the songs we will be singing together on Sunday. Use this as a resource to learn unfamiliar songs, to meditate on Christ-centered truth throughout the week, and teach your children songs that will fill their minds and shape their hearts.
