On Sunday we examined the tragic story of Dinah's rape and the shocking retribution by her brothers in Genesis 34. The ugliness of this dark stain on Israel's history reminds us that only by God's grace will the plan for redemption move forward, and only by faith can we respond rightly to the evils we face.

Listen to Violation and Vengeance

This week's sermon will be from Genesis 35. Take some time this week to read our text and consider the following questions:

  • How does the word of the Lord to Jacob call for faith?
  • How is Jacob's faith demonstrated in his response?
  • How is God's faithfulness proven once again?
  • In what ways ought our faith have a purifying effect on our lives?

Please pray for our gathering Sunday, that God would be honored, believers encouraged, and unbelievers drawn to Christ, all through the power of the Spirit.

Below are the songs we will be singing together on Sunday. Use this as a resource to learn unfamiliar songs, to meditate on Christ-centered truth throughout the week, and teach your children songs that will fill their minds and shape their hearts.
