In the midst of our wearying world, we need to be reminded of God's faithfulness. He has always been faithful, he is faithful now, and he will always be faithful. As we reflect on God's faithfulness, we should be overcome with worship and repent of our own faithlessness and other sins against God.

Listen to God's Continued Faithfulness

Our text for this week is Colossians 4:7-9. Paul's mention of two first century believers, Tychicus and Onesimus, will teach us about how the gospel transforms lives and relationships. In order to prepare for Sunday, read the text and consider the following questions:

  • How is Tychichus described?
  • How is Onesimus described?
  • What do we know about Onesimus from the book of Philemon?

Let's pray that God's word is clearly proclaimed and received on Sunday. Pray for believers to be encouraged and strengthened, for unbelievers to be drawn to Christ, and for God to be glorified in all we do.
