announcements

Here are a few upcoming events and announcements we want to spotlight for you.

April 28 - Jacqueline Klahr Baby Shower

We are rejoicing with Dean and Jacqueline Klahr at the birth of their child! We invite the ladies in our church to join us this Sunday evening, April 28, at 6:30pm at Redemption Hill for a baby shower. This will be a time where you can bless, encourage, and celebrate with Jacqueline and also enjoy fellowship with other women in our church family. If you’d like to bring a gift, you can view Jacqueline’s registry here.

May 5 - Prayer Meeting

One of our greatest needs as believers is to communicate with God in prayer, and we have the opportunity to do that corporately on the first Sunday of every month. Please join us on Sunday night, May 5 at 6:00pm at the church as we come to God with petition, adoration, and thanksgiving.

May 10 - Ultimate Frisbee Youth Event

Our youth group is looking forward to playing some ultimate frisbee! On Friday night, May 10 from 6:00-8:30pm at Redemption Hill we will be gathering to fling some discs together in the (hopefully) warm weather. We will provide a meal and spend time studying Proverbs together as the main focus of our time, then move on to our activity. Please RSVP to this event by email in order to notify us how many from your family will be attending.

May 11 - Church work day

Just like our own homes benefit from spring cleaning, so does our church building! On Saturday, May 11 from 9:00am-1:00pm we invite everyone to come and work both inside and outside the church. We will be cleaning, clearing up some exterior areas, and knocking out as many projects as we can. Mark your calendars now and stay tuned for more specifics as we draw closer.

May 19 - Church Picnic

As the weather grows warm and spring takes full effect, we will be gathering for a picnic on Sunday, May 19 at 5:00pm. Weather permitting, we’ll meet outside to enjoy a potluck dinner, yard games, and great fellowship. This is a great opportunity to deepen your relationships with others in our body as you talk over a meal or toss a frisbee around. We will provide paper products, plastic ware, and drinks. We ask that families bring enough of a main dish to feed your family plus one and that those attending as individuals bring either a side or dessert to share. Please bring a few lawn chairs and/or a blanket for yourself. We look forward to fellowshipping together!
